Busy Day Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 boneless beef chuck roast (3 to 4 lb.)
    1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    1 Tbsp. prepared steak sauce
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Place meat in a heavy Dutch oven.
    In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Spread over top and sides of roast.
    Cover and bake about 3 hours or until tender. Remove meat from pan to a cutting board or platter.
    Let stand about 5 minutes.
    Cut into thin slices.
    Pour gravy from Dutch oven into a bowl or sauce boat.
    Spoon over each slice of roast.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
