Sweet 'N Tart Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large cabbage leaves
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef, uncooked
    1 c. instant rice, uncooked
    1 small onion, grated
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Blanch cabbage leaves by covering them with boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Combine meat, rice, onion, 1 can of the tomato sauce, salt and pepper.
    Place equal portions of meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf; fold ends over.
    Roll up and fasten with toothpicks.
    Mix remaining can of tomato sauce with brown sugar and lemon juice and pour over rolls.
    Simmer covered 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
    Uncover and continue cooking for another 30 minutes.
