Mammaroni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size zucchini, sliced thin
    1 onion, chopped
    2 to 3 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 lb. lean ground turkey
    thyme
    basil
    10 oz. macaroni
    28 oz. canned crushed tomatoes
    15 oz. tomato sauce
    20 oz. macaroni (rotini, large elbows)
Preparation
    Saute meat.
    Saute onion, garlic and herbs.
    Combine meat, onion mixture, zucchini and crushed tomatoes in a large saucepan. Simmer 2 to 4 hours.
    This freezes well.
    To serve, add tomato sauce and simmer while cooking macaroni.
    Toss pasta with sauce and serve.
