Sausage And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sausage, (1/2 hot and 1/2 mild)
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    2 envelopes chicken noodle Cup-a-Soup
    4 c. boiling water
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. sliced almonds (optional)
Preparation
    Brown and drain sausage.
    Add onion, green pepper and celery. Saute until tender.
    Add salt, dry soup, water, rice and margarine. Stir well.
    Put in greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Top with almonds.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Stir after 15 minutes.
