Coconut Cake With White Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
2 egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
Make 3 layers.
Let cool.
Beat together in top of double boiler egg whites, Karo syrup,
sugar and cream of tartar and water.
Beat until it stands in peaks.
Remove double boiler from heat.
Add vanilla; beat until vanilla is mixed.
Spread frosting and coconut between cake layers and on top.
