Quick Spanish Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (4 5/8 oz.) pkg. (1 1/3 c.) precooked rice
1/4 c. fat
1 beef bouillon cube
1 1/4 c. hot water
2 (8 oz.) cans (2 c.) seasoned tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) can lunch meat, cut in thin strips
Preparation

Cook green pepper, onion and rice in hot fat, stirring constantly, until lightly browned.
Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water; add to rice along with the tomato sauce and meat; mix. Bring quickly to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 5 minutes or until rice is tender.
Makes 5 servings.
