Meat And Rice Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
    6 Tbsp. butter
    3 medium onions, chopped
    1/3 c. red wine
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash of ground cinnamon
    2 c. long grain rice
Preparation
    In a large heavy saucepan, brown meat in butter.
    Add onions and saute until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients, except rice; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
    Add more water if necessary.
    About 30 minutes before meat is ready, prepare rice according to package directions; set aside.
    Place all the meat and half the sauce in bottom of a 9 x 11-inch ring mold.
    Add cooked rice and pack tightly.
    Turn out onto a heated round serving platter.
    Serve remaining sauce separately. Garnish with parsley.
    Serves 6.
