Amish Country Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or regular margarine, softened
1/2 c. soft shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. grated unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Sift flour with cocoa, baking powder and salt; set aside. Lightly grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large bowl of electric mixer, at medium speed, beat butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
