Quick Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 to 3 1/2 c. milk, scalded
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Beat first 4 ingredients until all sugar is dissolved.
    Slowly add the scalded milk to the egg mixture.
    Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
    Bake for 15 minutes or until custard is set.
