Quick Corn Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 - 12 ounce can whole kernel corn, (drained) (reserve 1/4 cup liquid)
    1 small onion (thinly sliced)
    2 tablespoons green pepper (chopped)
    2 tablespoons pimento pepper (chopped)
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon mustard seed
    1/2 teaspoon celery seed
    1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauce
Preparation
    In a small sauce pan combine reserved corn liquid, onion, green pepper, pimento, vinegar, salt, mustard seed, celery seed, and red pepper sauce.
    Bring to a boil.
    Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in corn.
    Cool and refrigerate.
    Makes 2 cups.
