Shortcut Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. peeled, ripe tomatoes, chopped
    2 c. chopped celery
    2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. green pepper
    1/4 c. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. pickling spices (tied in thin cloth)
    1 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Bring to a boil and pour over tomato mixture.
    Boil for 30 to 40 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
    Makes about 8 half-pints.
