Butterscotch Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cornstarch
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 2/3 c. milk
1 c. water
1/3 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, salt and cornstarch in a saucepan.
Add egg yolks, milk, water and butter.
Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils.
Add vanilla.
Pour into 9-inch baked pie crust and top with meringue.
Bake to brown.
