Crescent Desserts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
8 oz. can crushed pineapple, well drained
1/3 c. chopped walnuts (pecans)
1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
1/2 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2 to 3/4 c. coconut
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a small bowl, blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth; stir in pineapple, walnuts, orange peel and vanilla.
Separate dough into eight triangles.
Place each triangle in ungreased muffin cup; press dough to cover bottom and sides, forming a 1/4-inch rim.
Spoon 1 teaspoon coconut into each cup.
Spoon 1 rounded tablespoonful pineapple mixture into each cup.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven; sprinkle with remaining coconut.
Return to oven; bake an additional 3 to 8 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans.
Store in refrigerator.
Serves 8.
