Shrimp Tofu Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh shrimp
    1/2 block tofu, drained and mashed
    1 egg
    dash of salt
    1/4 onion, chopped
    grated carrots and green onion (optional)
Preparation
    Clean shrimp and put through blender.
    Drain tofu well and mix with shrimp and remaining ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoonful into deep oil until puffed and golden brown.
    Drain. Serve or use as a garnish.
