Cranberry Banana Coffeecake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 ripe banana, mashed (1/2 c.)
1/2 c. milk
1 beaten egg
1/4 c. melted shortening
1 (8 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce, cut into slices
pecan halves
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Combine banana, milk, egg and shortening.
Add to flour mixture; stir to blend.
Pour into greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
Arrange cranberry slices on top and then pecan halves.
Sprinkle a little sugar over the top and bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
