Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 cup minced onion
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt (try less, or none)
    1 can chicken broth
    2 c. cubed cooked chicken or turkey
    1 can green peas
    1 can carrots
    2 chopped pimientos (optional)
    1 pkg. canned biscuits
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, cook onion in margarine until tender. Blend in flour and salt.
    Add broth.
    Cook and stir until thickened.
    Add chicken and vegetables.
    Pour into casserole dish. Set oven temperature according to canned biscuit directions. Before adding biscuits, get casserole good and hot by heating in oven until it bubbles around the edges.
    Top casserole with biscuits and continue cooking according to biscuit can directions or until biscuits start to brown and are not doughy. Serves 6.
