Homemade Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. broken nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Generously grease a square pan (8 x 8 x 2-inch).
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes until top has dull crust.
    A slight imprint will remain when touched lightly with finger.
    Cool slightly; cut in 2-inch squares.
    Makes 16 brownies.
