How To Freeze Corn - cooking recipe

1 gallon corn
1 quart water
4 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup sugar
Preparation

Cut raw corn from the cob. If your corn is mature enough make two cuts down the cob instead of cutting close to the cob.
I use the blade of the knife and scrape the cob. Place the corn in a large heavy pot to prevent the corn from scorching and add the water, salt and sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool at room temperature then chill in refrigerator over night before bagging and freezing.
