Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add salt.
    Add 1/2 milk and 1/2 flour; mix well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, alternating with remaining flour.
    Put baking powder in remaining 1/2 cup of milk and add to batter.
    Add flavoring.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
