Cheesy Pepper Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
    1 medium onion
    1 lb. ground round
    2 Tbsp. steak sauce
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grate cheese and finely chop onion.
    In medium bowl, combine beef, onion, sauce, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and salt and mix gently. Divide into 4 equal portions.
    Flatten into patty and press 1/4 of cheese into center.
    Pull sides of patty up and over cheese to enclose it.
    Make sure cheese does not poke out.
    Sprinkle with rest of pepper, pressing into meat.
