Red Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew meat
    4 to 5 stalks celery
    1 bell pepper
    1 can tomato paste
    4 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 onion (optional)
    1/2 lb. mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Cut meat in bite size pieces.
    Brown in 1 tablespoon of oil. Course chop vegetables.
    When meat is browned, drain off excess oil.
    Add celery, bell pepper, tomato paste and water.
    Simmer until thickened.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve over rice. Serves 4.
