Cream Cheese Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese
    1/2 tsp. peppermint flavor (or more to taste)
    2 to 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    food color
Preparation
    Mix cream cheese and peppermint; gradually add powdered sugar. Knead until no longer sticky.
    Divide into 4 portions; knead in food color of your choice.
    Shape into 3/4-inch balls.
    Roll in sugar and flatten with a fork.
    Let dry at room temperature. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
