Pork Chops With Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 pork chops
2 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. uncooked rice
2 c. tomato juice
2 tsp. salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 large onion, chopped
Preparation

Brown pork chops in shortening or fat.
Combine uncooked rice, tomato juice, salt, pepper, green pepper and onion.
Pour over chops and cook, covered, on low heat about 1 hour or until vegetables are thoroughly cooked.
Remove from skillet and thicken the vegetable liquid left in skillet for sauce to serve with chops.
