Yam Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large tart apples
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 medium yams
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 egg
2 Tbsp. light cream
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Grate apples and yams into a bowl.
(Use coarse grater.) Mix together with lemon juice the egg and cream. Beat well.
Add sugar and lemon peel. Add to apple/yam mixture.
Turn into pie shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool.
