Chocolate Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German's sweet chocolate
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 c. corn syrup
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. pecan halves
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Microwave chocolate and margarine or butter in a large microwavable bowl on High for 2 minutes or until margarine or butter is completely melted.
    Stir in corn syrup, sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended.
    Stir in pecans, reserving 8 halves for garnish, if desired.
    Pour filling into pie shell.
    Bake for 55 minutes or until knife inserted 1-inch from center comes out clean.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Garnish with whipped topping and reserved pecan halves, if desired.
