Pork Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

salt pork
1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. each: cinnamon and cloves
1/2 tsp. lemon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped or ground raisins
1 c. hot water
4 c. flour

Preparation

Chop or grind pork; add hot water over pork.
Add the remaining ingredients.
