Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. rum flavoring
    2 c. peaches
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    3/4 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix peaches and rum with sugar (1 cup).
    Set aside.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put butter in baking dish (2-quart).
    Set in oven to melt butter.
    Make a batter of 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
    Pour over melted butter.
    Do not stir. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
