Marinated Beef Tenderloin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. beef tenderloin
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    1 c. dry sherry
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. minced garlic
Preparation
    Place tenderloin in shallow baking dish on heavy plastic storage bag.
    Combine remaining ingredients in bowl; mix well. Pour over tenderloin.
    Marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours, turning beef several times.
    Drain, reserving marinade.
    Place in roasting pan in 450\u00b0 oven.
    Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0.
    Roast for 30 minutes or to desired degree of doneness.
    Let stand on serving platter for several minutes before slicing.
