Homemade Cracker Jack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. margarine
    1/2 c. corn syrup (white)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. butter flavoring or vanilla
    6 qt. popped corn
    16 oz. peanuts
Preparation
    Boil first 4 ingredients for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add flavoring and soda.
    Stir into corn and nuts.
    Spread in large pan (roaster works best) and bake at 200\u00b0, stirring every 15 minutes for 1 hour.
    Store in can to keep crisp.
