Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 c. oats (regular or instant)
    6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Cream together butter or margarine, Crisco, sugar and brown sugar.
    Add in this order:
    eggs, salt, baking soda, vanilla, flour, oats and chocolate chips.
    Spread in an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 25 to 30 minutes or until golden but not brown on edges of pan.

    The temperature stays the same but shorten cooking time when making cookies.
