Sally'S Butter Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation

Thoroughly mix together the butter, vanilla and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar.
Sift together and stir in the flour, salt and chopped nuts.
Chill dough at least for two hours.
After chilling, roll into 1-inch balls.
Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes until very lightly browned on bottom. Roll in powdered sugar, or if you prefer, sprinkle on top only. Makes about 75 cookies.
