Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. red kidney beans
1 pkg. Polka kielbasa sausage
1 large white onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
parsley
1 bay leaf
red pepper
salt
Preparation

Cook beans for 5 minutes (at a boil).
Then cover and let soak for an hour.
Drain water, add new.
Add sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces, onions, garlic, parsley, bay leaf, red (cayenne) pepper or Tabasco and lots of salt.
Cook on medium for about 2 to 3 hours until beans become soft and \"gravy\" becomes thicker. Serve over white rice.
