Baked Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large Granny Smith apples
    1 large can crescent rolls
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 stick butter
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Cut apples into chunks. Cut crescent rolls into smaller pieces. Wrap a piece of crescent roll around each chunk of apple. Heat water, sugar, butter and spices until boiling. Pour mixture over apples in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes, covered, and 15 minutes uncovered until golden brown.
