Creole Shrimp Saute - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. celery, sliced
    1 c. sliced red, green or yellow pepper strips
    1 c. sliced, fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes and juice
    1 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 c. fresh or frozen okra
    1/2 lb. fresh or frozen shrimp
    3 c. hot, cooked rice
    parsley
Preparation
    Cook celery, pepper, mushrooms, onion and garlic in butter and oil in large skillet.
    Stir in tomatoes and juice, thyme, salt, red pepper flakes and okra.
    Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat and boil 5 minutes or until okra is tender.
    Stir in shrimp and cook additional 5 minutes or until shrimp just turns pink.
    Serve over hot rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
