Butterscotch Squares(Recipe Served At Club Meetings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
Beat until creamy.
Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in morsels and nuts (optional). Spread in jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
