Mom'S Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 qt. red tomatoes, peeled or use juice
    2 to 3 c. chopped onions
    3 green peppers, chopped
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Add all ingredients to large heavy pan.
    Stir and cook for about 1 hour or until it thickens or cooks down, stirring frequently.
    A very little cornstarch may be used to thicken.
    It is ready to use or can.
    This is good in chili, spaghetti, rice dishes, etc.
