Savory Corn Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
2 eggs, separated
3/4 c. self-rising flour
2 Tbsp. corn meal
1 tsp. baking powder
dash of pepper
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
15 oz. can creamed corn
8 oz. bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preparation

Combine milk and egg yolks; blend well.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Add flour, corn meal, baking powder and pepper.
Beat until smooth.
Stir in green pepper, corn and bacon.
Beat until smooth.
In a small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry; fold into corn mixture.
Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 70 minutes or until center is firm.
