Granny Dolvin'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. Crisco
1/3 c. milk
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix eggs, sugar and shortening in bowl.
Beat smooth.
Save out 1 cup of flour to use on board to work dough smooth.
Sift remaining 2 cups of flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add dry ingredients, milk and vanilla to egg mixture to make dough. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
