Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. kraut
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 chopped onion
    1/2 c. fine chopped celery
    1 chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. red pimento
Preparation
    Rinse kraut until brine is gone.
    Let drain 1/2 hour.
    Mix remaining ingredients together.
    Add kraut and mix well.
    Let stand 24 hours before serving.
