Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, thinly sliced
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Burgundy wine or beef broth, divided
    1 can chicken broth
    1 can beef broth
Preparation
    In saucepan, saute onions and garlic in butter for 7 to 10 minutes until onions are tender, stir constantly.
    Add 1/4 cup wine, cook 5 minutes.
    Add remaining wine, chicken and beef broths. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes.
