Scalloped Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked chicken
    2/3 c. rice
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 c. broth
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. diced pimento
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Make creamy
    gravy
    with
    butter, broth, milk, salt and pepper. Also cook
    the rice in 2 cups water until done.
    Layer in 12
    x
    8 x 2-inch dish the rice, chicken and gravy (sprinkling over each
    layer
    the
    mushooms,
    pimentos and almonds). Top with crumbs mixed with 1 tablespoon butter.
    May refrigerate for a few hours, then bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8.
