Summer Day Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 yellow crookneck squash (2-1/2 inch diameter)
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash, dry and remove ends.
    Split in half length ways.
    Place in shallow microwaveable dish.
    Make several slits in cut side of squash, spread margarine on and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook on high power for 3 minutes.
    Should be tender enough for fork to pierce easily.
    More cooking time may be required. Recheck for tenderness after 1 minute.
