Grandma'S Sugared Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter (not margarine)
    2 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 lb. pecans
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Beat egg whites until very stiff.
    Add sugar.
    Mix well.
    Add pecans to egg white mixture. Put pecans and egg white mixture into the pan of melted butter. Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven, stirring every 5 to 8 minutes.
    Bake until browned well.
    Turn out and spread on aluminum foil to cool.
    When completely cold, put in container or plastic bag.
