Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. stir-fry sirloin
1/4 c. canola oil
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. sugar
dash of salt
1 can beef bouillon
1 Tbsp. ground ginger
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 green peppers, sliced
2 large onions, sliced
1/2 to 1 c. water
1 can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
4 green onions, sliced
Preparation

Heat oil in skillet.
Add garlic, salt, ginger and pepper. Saute until garlic is golden. Add steak to this. Brown lightly. Remove meat. Add green peppers and onions.
Cook approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Return beef to skillet.
Add soy sauce, sugar, bouillon and water chestnuts. Dissolve cornstarch in water.
Add to skillet along with green onions. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Serve over rice.
May use wok in place of skillet.
