Possum And Chestnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium possum
    salt and pepper
    1 c. sweet chestnuts
    1 c. chopped apple
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 large sweet potato
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. oleo or butter
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Skin the possum; clean well and remove glands.
    Place in large pot; cover in boiling water.
    Boil for 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    Rub with salt and pepper.
