Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or oleo
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 1/2 c. flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    10 slices pineapple (20 oz. can)
Preparation
    Cream 1 stick
    butter
    and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Mix flour and baking powder with milk and vanilla.
    Melt remaining stick of butter in a

    x\t9-inch\tpan.
    Cover surface of pan with brown sugar.
    Place
    pineapple
    slices on top of sugar.
    Put a maraschino cherry in
    each hole of pineapple.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0, or until a toothpick comes out dry.
    Remove cake from oven. Turn upside down on a flat surface.
