German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes, boiled and diced
1/2 medium onion
1/2 c. parsley (optional)
6 slices bacon, crumbled
1/3 c. bacon fat
2 Tbsp. flour
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
pepper
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
-
Make gravy of bacon fat and flour; then add sugar, salt, pepper, water and vinegar.
Boil 1 minute.
Pour gravy mixture over potatoes.
Serve hot.
