Hot Water Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. sour milk (1 c. milk plus 1 tsp. vinegar)
3/4 c. boiling water
3 eggs
Preparation

Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Set aside. Cream together sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and mix well. Add dry ingredients and liquids.
Mix well.
Bake cupcakes 25 to 30 minutes, layers 35 to 40 minutes and 9 x 13-inch dish 45 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven, or until done.
