Pita Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine, softened
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
    1 Tbsp. snipped chives
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 clove garlic, crushed and minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 rounds pita bread
Preparation
    Cream together first 6 ingredients.
    Chill margarine mixture at least 1 hour (overnight is best).
    Halve 6 pita rounds and separate each half into 2 pieces.
    Spread the inside of each piece with some of the margarine mixture.
    Arrange bread on a baking sheet in one layer.
    Bake it in top third of oven at 450\u00b0 (preheated) for 5 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp.
    Great with soups and pasta.
