Herbed Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 chicken breasts, halved
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3/4 c. Sauterne wine
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
    1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/4 tsp. crushed thyme
Preparation
    Season chicken, then brown in butter.
    Remove from pan.
    Add soup and wine to drippings.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Heat to boiling.
    Pour over chicken in a casserole dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake another 30 minutes, then serve.
